Code of Conduct
Tech Link Up is committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone. We expect all participants in our events, online spaces, and community to follow this Code of Conduct.
Our Pledge
We pledge to make participation in our community a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of age, body size, disability, ethnicity, gender identity and expression, level of experience, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, or sexual identity and orientation.
Expected Behavior
- Be respectful and considerate of others
- Welcome newcomers and help them feel included
- Listen before speaking and be open to different perspectives
- Collaborate in a constructive way
Unacceptable Behavior
Unacceptable behavior includes, but is not limited to:
- Harassment, discrimination, or offensive comments
- Trolling or personal attacks
- Unwelcome sexual attention or advances
- Attending events while excessively intoxicated. We allow drinks at our events, but you are responsible for your behavior regardless of your sobriety
- Solicitation, including but not limited to multi-level marketing (MLM), pyramid schemes, investment scams, or other deceptive business pitches
- Advocating for or encouraging any of the above behavior
Enforcement
Community organizers have the right to remove anyone who violates this Code of Conduct from an event or online space. We take all reports seriously and will respond appropriately. If you experience or witness unacceptable behavior, please contact us at hello@techlinkup.org.
